Navaratri  is a Hindu festival that spans nine nights (and ten days) and is celebrated every year in the autumn. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian cultural sphere. This festival is dedicated to nine incarnations of Maa Shakti. Sharad navratri is celebrated in the month of September or October and  is the more popular among all navratri, which is celebrated in the grand manner in all over India. During Sharad Navratri, people enjoy the festival by participating in dandiya and garba dance events, where people dance on various songs with great fervor. On some places, Navratri Jagran also has been performed.
